  • Proud member of Oakwood Road Church

For those of you who don't live here and you've ever wondered what the church I'm apart of is all about please check out this website of our latest sermons!  The series on Following Jesus was done by my very own husband, Caleb Keller :).  But the ones that will tell you more about who we are as a church and what we are doing are the ones titled "10 ORC Distinctives" and 10 ORC Commitments".  There are even powerpoint slides for you to look at while you listen.

    I love you guys!

  • Life with no job

Life with no job..... it stinks .  Last Friday (the 24th of August) my company eliminated my position with no warning and I sit here today searching for a replacement.  I had already begun to look for other work while working because things were not going well so I guess this was God's way of getting me out of a bad situation and putting me into a tough situation.  Everyday I am learning to trust God more and more as I wonder when it is I'll find that right job and company and until then trusting in him to provide for Caleb and I's needs - and he is!  It's been a rough road so far but I know that God is teaching Caleb and I something and so I know that in the end the travel will have been worth it.  For now, just pray for us as we work through this time in our life.  I miss you guys and sorry it's been so long since my last post.

  • Christmas

Well, it was another good Christmas.  I made out with a bunch of DVDs again, a cool picnic basket and an elliptical machine -yea!

Caleb and I started the day with a cup of coffee and small bowl of cereal then moved on to presents.  After we went to his parents' home for a Buttermilk Pancake Breakfast, gifts and family time.

Leah made this year with a new Mini Kitchen with pots and plastic food, a paint set and awesome pink cowboy boots that even Becky would enjoy.

After all gifts were opened (which took forever!) we relaxed and hung out until all finally made their way home.

    It was a good day.

  • Blizzard anyone??

Anyone up for a blizzard... and I'm not talking about a DQ blizzard.  This one has actually snow that limits your visibility to about 1 or 2 cars in front of you and is piling up.  Currently we have about a foot and there's no promise of it ending.  Yesterday it was a clear, chilly day in Denver with a Winter storm watch  in effect and I thought they were crazy because there wasn't a cloud in the sky..... but I spoke too soon.   About 3 am this morning it began and it has not stopped!  I'm really hoping I make it home on Friday.

Well, my time is short so I must go.  But please remember me locked up in the hotel enjoying the hot tub
